Write a well-developed paragraph for EACH of the following prompts. Be sure to use evidence from both Dobie and Foster Wallace to support your findings.


1. Define and identify archetypal images and situations and explain how they work together to create meaning.

2. State an instance in which the collective unconscious of a character is revealed-examine its origins.

3. Consider similarities and contrasts in the personal conscious and personal unconscious of a character to determine whether they reflect the same desires and impulses or are in (internal) conflict.

4. Examine instances in which the persona, anima/animus, and shadow of a character are revealed, including instances of rejection and projection.
