I wrote this 3 years ago please tell me what you think of it.
NO! NO! It was too late; they had already made up their mind. They were going to the circus. They thought it was all fun and games, and it is until someone gets hurt. But what they didn’t know is that their adventure would have some SPECIAL surprises waiting for them. Dan and Kit had no idea about the journey ahead.

Dan and Kit are cousins but, also, they are best friends. Dan was tall with brown hair and brown eyes, and Kit was short and stubby with blond hair and blue eyes. They lived in a small town, Greenfield, where everybody knows everyone. Not much happened here. They thought this was the most boring town ever. This is, until they saw the flyer.
It said, “Next week only! The Circus in your town. A fun, exciting adventure awaits! Tickets available now.”
The next day they both left and bought tickets for the circus. When they were in line, they could see the performers setting up. The performers were excited to perform in the circus. After they bought their tickets, they departed back to the car where Dan’s mom, Lucile, was waiting. The boys went back home and got ready for the circus. They took out some of their savings for snacks, games, and carnival rides. There was only one stipulation for them going out, to keep Lucile always updated. They agreed with her stipulation. So now they were off the the circus.
Once they arrived at the circus, they could not decide what to do first. There were so many things to do, and the circus performance didn’t start until 9:00P.M. So, they decided to go on the rides first, but which ones? They decided to start with the Ferris Wheel, then they moved to the right and go on as many rides as they could before 9:00. They had so much fun on the rides, that time flew by. Before they knew it, it was 9:00P.M. and time for the performers to start. When they finally got in, the show was already started. The lions and lion tamers were first. They did astonishing tricks. Then, the acrobats, flying high in the sky. Next was the clowns; they were hilarious. After the clowns, the fire swallowers were up. They started by lighting the stick and throwing it around. This is where things went from good to bad. The acrobats forgot to take the line down after their performance and one of the fire swallowers threw the fire so high that it touched the line, and it lit on fire. Know one noticed at first until it spread to the sides of the tent.
We heard someone yell “FIRE!”
Everyone was screaming and, in a panic, as they were running out of the tent. Everyone was lucky to get out of the tent before it fully engulfed in flames. Everybody was safe. The Fire Department, Ambulance, and Police was quick to respond. After they got checked out, they called Lucile to pick them up. When they got in the car, they told her all the details.
She was relieved they were both ok and told the boys “Thank goodness you both got out safe!”

When they got home his Dan’s family was waiting for him. They were all worried sick about the boys. His family started (v) requesting to tell them if they were okay and what happened. They looked at each other and then looked at his family and assured them, that they were okay.
After all the questions were done his mom asked, “Do you boys want to stay out here and watch T.V with me?” The boys responded by saying, “No, we are pretty tired, but we will watch T.V with you tomorrow.”
